Here we are in quarantine and our appetites are high, our kitchen time has increased and so has our creative and fun time. We have just finished our workout and wanted to share with you our favorite morning smoothie with fresh frozen spirulina and a variety of super berries.
Here my daughter and I are in our kitchen in Israel where she is translating my broken hebrew for a wider audience that is following us. Hope you enjoy!.
Stay healthy, wealthy and stay tuned!
Here is the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:( Makes 4 tall glasses)
Preparation time: 3 Minutes
2 cups soaked cashews
1 cup frozen cherries
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen blackberries
1 cup frozen mango
25 grams of fresh frozen Spirulina
1 TBS Coconut Oil
2-3 TBS Maple Syrup
2-4 TBS Raw Cacao Nibs
Add 2 cups of soaked cashews in a high speed blender or Vitamix with 2 cups filtered water.
Blend at high speed until creamy.
Add all your frozen fruits.
Blend again, then add one tablespoon of coconut oil and the maple syrup to taste and blend until creamy.
If the consistency is very thick, add a bit more water and 7-9 ice cubes if you are using fresh fruits.
Blend one last time until it all comes to a thick and creamy dreamy blend.
Serve with cacao nibs on top for added texture and crunch.
